Firefighter Matthew Brown!

The Effingham County Sheriff's Office has announced the graduation of Matthew Brown from the St. Clair County Correctional Officers Academy in Belleville.

Brown graduated with Class 101 on February 10 after five weeks of training.

Brown has been employed at the sheriff's office part-time since May 2015. He was promoted to full-time Correctional Officer on September 18, 2016. He lives in rural Effingham County.
